Splitting It Up

Hey Guys,

So to get things rolling, I split up the work for the assessments that we have already gone over in class.  We’ve gone over 7/11 assessments that we have to include on our WIKI page so I just randomly picked assessments out of a hat for people.  The results are as follows:

  • Kelsey: 9-hole peg test & UE sensory testing
  • Leisl: UE ROM & Reflex testing
  • Anthony: Distance VA & wheelchair part management
  • Me: Near Visual Acuity

Formatting the pages and including pictures can be tricky if you’ve never done it before. I have had to make a wordpress blog for a previous class so I am somewhat familiar with it. If you guys want, I can continue to manage the formatting for the site.  But if anyone else would like to play around with the blog you’re more than welcome.

For those of you who decide to forgo the blog editing, just explain your assessment in a word document & send it to me, I can type it up into the blog.  Just be sure to include any pictures you want included in the description.  In your description, if you could split up the info under the headings “Materials Needed” “Instructions” “”Standardized Norms” & “Documentation” then it will be easy to format and make sure we include everything. Once I get your assessment on the blog, I just ask you look over it and make sure there are no grammatical or formatting errors.  I have already completed my post on Near VA if you would like to see an example.  It is under the heading subtype visual acuity.

Notice the side bars to the right.  Also include any sites which you have found helpful and I can include them here. You can also navigate the posts that are posted on the homepage (like this one).  I’m thinking I will post important news and crap here so we can all stay on the same page with this thing.
